The first session will be about 1.5 hours long and will include a detailed consultation. Based on this the teacher will create a suggested yoga practice for you that you will do everyday.
Subsequent sessions will be about an hour long, scheduled weekly or fortnightly to review and change the practice to progress further.
The practice usually involves one or more of the tools of yoga: asana, pranyama, chanting, visualizations, meditative practices, and contemplative conversations as appropriate for each individual.

The number of sessions a person will need varies based on the problem they come to us with. However we require a minimum commitment of 5 sessions to be completed between 6-10 weeks. This is the minimum time needed to experience and stabilize the practice and the benefits of it.
